Initial image the vehicle I was given to create graphics for. Image with the parts I didn't want Photoshopped out. One of the new set of graphics photoshopped onto the altered image. The final version of the vehilce graphics, created entirely in vector so that it will print vehicle size without loosing any quality.

For this project I was given the photo seen to the right, and the direction that the vehicle graphic should appeal to children.

Process and Techniques

The first thing I did was some work on the provided photograph to help in the design process. Anything detracting from or blocking the vehicle was removed from the scene. Then, to help get proper proportions, I reshaped the side of the vehicle in photoshop, stretching it back out to have a straight side view of the vehicle. This was necessary since no actual measurments were provided.

Because of the size of the final print required, I did the illustration in vector, as it can be sized almost infinitely with the loss of any detail. Using this method I was able to provide the client with not only a finished vector illustration, but a concept drawing of the illustration placed on the side of the vehicle.

Other large print designs I have completed include 2 billboards for Aggie's Big House in Stilllwater, Oklahoma. To get a project estimate, big or small, print or otherwise, just email or call today.
