The Illustration Gallery |
This is the home for all of my illustrations that were either done for fun, education, or just do not have enough of a story to require their own page. That doesn't mean that some of these aren't my favorites. There are many different mediums represented here: digital painting, matte painting, vector art, pencil, and even scratchboard. So don't take them too seriously, and please, enjoy! |

Children's Book Illustration |
This was a project which involved illustrating a small children's book using the story and some suggestions from the client as a starting point. The boy seen in most of the images was the main character in the story and was based on the author's son. This was a relatively low budget and short deadline project with much less time spent on individual images than on most of the other images found on this site. This project was a fun change of pace, and I would love the chance to illustrate another book sometime in the future. |

Vehicle Graphics |
For this project I was given the photo of the vehicle still in the garage, and the direction that the vehicle graphic should appeal to children. The clients name is Ocean Dental, so of course it would have an under water theme. I have included some images of the process to help illustrate some of the steps I took while designing these graphics. |

Illustration for The Texan |
The Texan is a Baptist publication based in Texas. These Illustration were done over about a one year period for various articles, and they generally make more sense when seen in context. The images were placed in the center of a 2 page spread and the text was shaped around it. Drawing people is definitely not my specialty, so these were good practice. |
